The Michigan Guardianship Association, a non-profit organization, aspires to strengthen guardianship and related services through networking, continuing education and tracking legislation. MGA members strive to improve services to persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness, head injuries and to the elderly. BULLETIN BOARD NEWS YOU CAN USE Guardian Fee Update Phoebe Corry died suddenly on Saturday, June 14 at her home in Little Rock Arkansas. She previously served on the MGA Board of Directors and was a dedicated guardian for the past 15 years. A Celebration of Life reception will be held at the Detroit Athletic Club; details are pending and will be posted as soon as they are known. Ms. Corry’s funeral is June 17th in Little Rock.
